Welcome to the online home of Southern Oregon Decorative Artists. We invite anyone interested in decorative painting to join us in developing their skills and meeting new friends.
If you would like to check us out in person, we welcome you to attend a club meeting & paint-in as a guest. You can attend as a guest twice, and we would love to meet you!
Meetings
Our club meets at the Live Oak Grange in Rogue River, Oregon. We usually meet on the fourth Saturday of each month, but please check the Calendar page for specific dates and meeting times.
What We Do
We offer a variety of classes and seminars in several different mediums taught by both local and travel teachers. Please enjoy your visit to our website and come back often!
Acrylic Painting Classes

Upcoming Club Events
January Club Meeting & Paint In
Saturday, January 25 - 10:00 - Live Oak Grange, Rogue River - We will start the new year with an Open Painting Day and New Year Rumble. Bring something to paint from home or plan to paint a Treasure Box for Shriners Childrens Hospital in Portland. Treasure Boxes will be available at the meeting, so you just need to bring your painting supplies and a design you want to paint. These boxes will be for kids in the hospital to keep their treasures in during their stay, so they should be themed for kids aged toddlers to teens. Take a look at the Treasure Box page on this website for some ideas.
In addition to painting, we will hold our annual Rumble formerly known as the Rudolph Rumble. Bring any painting related items you no longer need or want...things like painting books, pattern packets, surfaces, brushes, paint and even unfinished projects. All items will be put into a silent auction where club members can use their points as money to bid on and "purchase" items. This is a fun event and a good way to add to your stash of painting items.

Did you know...
Membership in the Society of Decorative Painters is no longer necessary to join our club. We are now an independent painting club with no ties to the now-defunct SDP. You can join us for just $25 a year in annual dues. You can also attend as a guest at 1 or 2 meetings to see what we're all about.
