Welcome to the online home of Southern Oregon Decorative Artists. We invite anyone interested in decorative painting to join us in developing their skills and meeting new friends.
If you would like to check us out in person, we welcome you to attend a club meeting & paint-in as a guest. You can attend as a guest twice, and we would love to meet you!
Meetings
Our club meets at the Live Oak Grange in Rogue River, Oregon. We usually meet on the fourth Saturday of each month, but please check the Calendar page for specific dates and meeting times.
What We Do
We offer a variety of classes and seminars in several different mediums taught by both local and travel teachers. Please enjoy your visit to our website and come back often!
December Christmas Party
Sunday, December 7 - 11:00 - Live Oak Grange, Rogue River - We've all been so busy this year and now it's time to relax and party! Our holiday party will be on Sunday, December 7. Doors open at 11:00 and the party will begin at noon. Please come in festive dress and enjoy socializing with morning coffee & treats. Please feel free to bring treats to share if you wish. This will be a nice time for hanging out and visiting with a holiday luncheon. Here are the details:
Decoration & Ornament Exchange - Make a special keepsake if you are so inclined to participate by painting a decoration or ornament for exchange. Wrap in a plain bag.
Gift Exchange - The gift should be valued at $20 - 25 and wrapped. Please bring a gift to get a gift, if you wish to participate.
Luncheon - Lunch will be provided as well as coffee and tea.
Funny Socks contest & fashion show - We'll have fun with a Funny Xmas Socks contest so come dressed in holiday socks of your choosing.
January Club Meeting & Paint-In
Saturday, January - 10:00 - Club Meeting & Paint-In - Live Oak Grange, Rogue River - Karen Damerow will be teaching this design based on a free line drawing by Tracy Moreau. Prep instructions and line drawing will be available on the Members Only page soon, so please check back.

Joining Southern Oregon Decorative Artists
Did you know...
Membership in the Society of Decorative Painters is no longer necessary to join our club. We are now an independent painting club with no ties to the now-defunct SDP. You can join us for just $35 a year in annual dues. You can also attend as a guest at 1 or 2 meetings to see what we're all about.
