Welcome to the online home of Southern Oregon Decorative Artists. We invite anyone interested in decorative painting to join us in developing their skills and meeting new friends.
If you would like to check us out in person, we welcome you to attend a club meeting & paint-in as a guest. You can attend as a guest twice, and we would love to meet you!
Meetings
Our club meets at the Live Oak Grange in Rogue River, Oregon. We usually meet on the fourth Saturday of each month, but please check the Calendar page for specific dates and meeting times.
What We Do
We offer a variety of classes and seminars in several different mediums taught by both local and travel teachers. Please enjoy your visit to our website and come back often!
Acrylic Painting Classes

Upcoming Two-Day Seminar with Marco Aguilar
Saturday & Sunday, July 26 & 27 - 9:00 - Seminar with Marco Aguilar - Live Oak Grange, Rogue River - We are so excited to be hosting Marco Aguilar for a two-day in-person seminar. Marco will be teaching these two projects, Tropical Sunset & Painted Pony. He is a wonderful teacher as well as a great guy! Be sure to save the dates and plan to attend.

April Club Meeting & Paint In
Saturday, April 19 - 10:00 - Live Oak Grange, Rogue River - Following our business meeting, Kathy Prewitt will be teaching this lovely holiday design. The prep instructions and line drawing can be downloaded from the Members Only page.
Please bring your own lunch and bring a snack to share or raffle item if you can. We're looking forward to painting this project with Kathy, so make sure to be there!

Joining Southern Oregon Decorative Artists
Did you know...
Membership in the Society of Decorative Painters is no longer necessary to join our club. We are now an independent painting club with no ties to the now-defunct SDP. You can join us for just $25 a year in annual dues. You can also attend as a guest at 1 or 2 meetings to see what we're all about.
