Welcome to the online home of Southern Oregon Decorative Artists. We invite anyone interested in decorative painting to join us in developing their skills and meeting new friends.
If you would like to check us out in person, we welcome you to attend a club meeting & paint-in as a guest. You can attend as a guest twice, and we would love to meet you!
Meetings
Our club meets at the Live Oak Grange in Rogue River, Oregon. We usually meet on the fourth Saturday of each month, but please check the Calendar page for specific dates and meeting times.
What We Do
We offer a variety of classes and seminars in several different mediums taught by both local and travel teachers. Please enjoy your visit to our website and come back often!
October Club Meeting & Paint-In
Saturday, October 24 - 10:00 - Live Oak Grange, Rogue River - Karen Damerow will be teaching this snowy winter design by Lynne Andrews. Lynn made this available as a free pattern for SDP members several years ago.
Prep instructions, the line drawing and a picture of a surface prepped and ready for class can be downloaded from the Members Only page. * The line drawing should fill up an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. If it prints out smaller than that, you may need to enlarge it to fit your surface.
November Club Meeting & Paint-In
Saturday, November 21 - 10:00 - Live Oak Grange, Rogue River - Julie Veronneau will be teaching this lovely project which was designed by Chris Haughey (with Chris' permission).

Joining Southern Oregon Decorative Artists
Did you know...
Membership in the Society of Decorative Painters is no longer necessary to join our club. We are now an independent painting club with no ties to the now-defunct SDP. You can join us for just $35 a year in annual dues. You can also attend as a guest at 1 or 2 meetings to see what we're all about.
